Harry Meryl Snyder – 84, Bible Hill, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Debert, he was a son of the late Harry Snyder and Ruth McLean and was raised by his grandparents, Marvin and Mary (Rawding) McLean.

Harry worked as a conductor for CNR for many years and retired at age 55. He loved animals, especially his dog, Miley. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating and camping, and as a jack-of-all-trades, he loved tinkering and fixing cars and antique cars.

Harry is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Weiss; grandson, Sean Weiss; half-brother, Gerry.

All are invited to attend a graveside service that will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Main Road Cemetery, Debert. If so desired, donations in Harry’s memory to Colchester SPCA are welcomed.
