Laura-Lee MacDonald– 66, Truro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, August 23, 2023, at Sunset Community, Pugwash, where she had resided for a number of years. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Halliday) MacDonald.

Laura-Lee will be sadly missed by her son, David (Tracey) Prince, Dartmouth; daughters, Monique (John) Prince, Dieppe, New Brunswick; Sara Prince, Beaver Brook; grandchildren, Nicholas Sharpe, Summer Naser, Lucas Prince; sisters, Carol, Debbie, Lynda; brother, Randy; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Stephanie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Laura-Lee’s family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2023, and funeral service 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, Pastor Ken Fillmore officiating. Interment in Robie Street Cemetery, 125 Robie Street, Truro. If so desired, donations in Laura-Lee’s memory to Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
