Charles Edmund Jordan "Ed" – 88, of Truro, passed away on September 9, 2023 in Truro. Born in New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Murray and Hazel Jordan of Alma, New Brunswick and Folly Mountain.

Ed was a long-time resident of Truro. After retirement as a civilian navy employee as a Stewart on a navy research vessel for many years, Ed enjoyed visiting Truro Mall and Tim Horton’s on Robie Street where he chatted to many peers and the staff who were always very good to him. 

Ed is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Randall Jordan, Corbet Jordan, Russel Jordan; and sister, Helen Patriquin. He will be missed.

Honoring Ed’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. If so desired, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or a charity of choice are welcomed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
