Charles Emerson Currie – 99, Bible Hill, formerly of North River and Cole Harbour, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2024, in the Veterans Unit at Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou. Born in Arcola, Saskatchewan, he was the son of the late J. and F. Currie.

Emerson is survived by his wife, Eleanor (McDonald, Teed) and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the RAF, and was a life-member of Royal Canadian Legion, most recently with Branch 26, Truro.

Private interment will be held at Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations in his memory to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Truro, are welcomed.
