Judith Ann "Judy" Trueman – 84, Hilden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Shannex Elk Court, Brookfield. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Vera (Beharrall) Chapman.

Over the years, Judy worked at Stanfield’s, Woolworths and Sea Land.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting, needlepoint, doing puzzles and playing cards and games.

Judy is survived by her children, Hal (Marg) Trueman, Tatamagouche; Dale Trueman, Waterville; Shelley Trueman, Alberta; Scott Trueman, Hilden; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Lee Chapman, Amherst Head.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; daughter, Sherry; brothers, Paul Chapman, Carl Chapman; sister, Bert Totten.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Judy’s family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
