Nancy Lorraine Blair – 71, Salmon
River, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer,
surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday morning, July 30,
2025, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro,
she was a daughter of the late George and Cleta (Stronge)
Spicer.
Many will remember seeing Nancy out around the
neighbourhood walking, and she also enjoyed spending time at the beach
with family and friends. Christmas was a favourite time of year,
decorating the tree, and spending time with her family. She was a
trusted confident for anyone seeking a listening ear or advice, and
absolutely cherished spending time with her grandson, hanging out or
having talks with Nanny. She will be dearly missed by her loving
husband of 53 years, Vernon.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Vernon;
children, Scott Blair, Dartmouth; Sandra (Paul) Graham, Greenfield;
grandson, Brandon Graham, Greenfield; siblings, Roger (Liz) Spicer,
Lower Harmony; Earl Spicer, Lower Harmony; Valerie (Randy) Johnson,
Bible Hill; Julie Davis, Trenton, Ontario; nieces and nephews, Dara
(Carla) Spicer, Darren (Stacey) Spicer, Kim (Derek) MacKenzie, Melissa
(Andrew) Begin, Kallista Davis.
