passing on Thursday, May 7, 2026, after a long and courageous battle
with cancer, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre,

Born to the late Harvey and Iris (Fielding) Winters, Wendy
was well known for her strength, determination, and devotion to her
family and friends.
Wendy is survived by her loving husband, Charlie McNutt,
Onslow Mountain; her son, Trevor (Lisa) Smith; stepdaughter, Susan
Weatherby; sisters, Tammy (Mark) MacKay, Linda Sutherland; brother,
Tim Winters; grandson, Josh (Jennifer) Weatherby; her two cherished
great-grandsons, Landon and Lincoln, who brought immense joy and
laughter to her life. She was predeceased by her stepdaughter, Lesa

Wendy dedicated 32 years of service to the RCMP Truro
Detachment before retiring in 2005. She took great pride in her work
and the many friendships she formed throughout her career. An avid
