Joshua David "Josh" Naugle – 41, Brookfield, passed away peacefully, with his wife at his side, on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Cathy (Robert "Bob") (Hoeg) Lake, Valley.

Josh worked as a mechanic at Sexton’s Auto, Tired and Torqued and most recently at MacKenzie’s Towing and Service Centre, operating the tow truck. He was instrumental in creating Red Line Racing and would race anything he could, including four wheelers, dirt bikes, side by side, and of course, the famous lawn tractor "Frank". He also enjoyed road racing at Atlantic Motor Sports Park thanks to Gerry and Mark Elliot. He and his brothers would go mackerel fishing for hours on end and going on his canned-ham (four wheeler) getting muddy.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kristine Millard; children, Noel Naugle, Nova Harnish, Vaden Harnish, Cole Naugle, Ryker Naugle, all of Brookfield; siblings, Travis (Sarah) Naugle, Salmon River; Jesse Johnson, Salmon River; nieces, Jazlyn "Jiggles" Naugle, Trinity Naugle, Salmon River; many other nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.

Special thanks to the Red Line Team, and Intensive Care Unit at Colchester East Hants Health Centre for their care.

Josh’s family and friends will gather at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 10929 Highway 215, Shubenacadie, for Red Line Racing Home Event and celebration of Josh’s life. If so desired, donations in Josh’s memory to Canadian Cancer Society or Autism Nova Scotia are welcomed.
