Angela Catherine Veinott – 64, Salmon River, passed away peacefully, with her loving husband at her side, on Friday morning, July 17, 2026, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Leader, Saskatchewan, she was a daughter of the late Maynard and Catherine (Hiddle) Mastel.

Angela worked in the accounting and bookkeeping department at Danco Equipment, Calgary for 35 years. Upon moving to Nova Scotia, she worked at Global Construction for four years, and was most currently working at Lavers House. While living in Alberta, she and Glenn enjoyed camping at various places around the province. She was an avid Blue Jays fan and enjoyed shopping and fashion.

Angela is survived by her husband of 33 years, Glenn; siblings, Clarence (Donna) Mastel, Camrose, Alberta; Gladys (Don) Young, Calgary, Alberta; Darlene Morrisey, Coaldale, Alberta; Pearl (Don) Redgate, Calgary, Alberta; Keith (Trina) Mastel, Leader, Saskatchewan; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Rose (Keith) Beal; brother-in-law, Gerry Morrisey.

Honouring Angela’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations in Angela’s name to Canadian Cancer Society are welcomed.
