TOTTEN, DIANA JEAN, 59, of Debert, passed away peacefully surrounded
by her family on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in The Mira Long Term
Care Center, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Bertha May
McLaughlin of Bible Hill and the late Thomas Weatherby.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Rhodes Totten; daughters, Janet Phelan (Tommy DeVouge) of Greenfield, Sheila Amonette (Art Bowden) of Little Dyke; step-son Ronald William “Bill” (Theresa) of Truro, Michael Edgar of Debert; step-daughter Sharon Anne (Richard) Greene of Sackville, NS; 4 step-grandchildren, Amy, Erin, Brian, Scott; step-great-grandson, Tyler; brothers, Donald Weatherby of Crowes Mills, David (Shirley) Weatherby of Hinton, Alberta; sisters, Marion McNutt and Catherine Terry, both of Truro, Charlotte (Albert) Toole of Brookside, Dorothy Adams of Debert.
No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm in the Debert United Church, Debert. Rev. Donald MacQueen will officiate with burial to follow in the Plains Road Cemetery, Debert. A reception will follow the burial in the church hall. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the MS Society, The Mira Long Term Care Center, Truro or a charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro.
