Richard Allan Taylor – 60, Camden, passed away peacefully at
home on Sunday, March 29, 2009. Born July 7, 1948 in Truro, he was a
son of the late Fred and Eva (Fields) Taylor.
Richard was a trucker during his working years and worked with his
brother at FM Trucking and later delivering firewood for Doug Glawson.
He enjoyed hunting, wildlife and four wheeling.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Gail; son, Craig;
daughter, Diane (Junior) Maher; stepson, Donnie Bonnell (Tanya
Laffin); grandchildren, Jorden, Clarissa, Austin, Christian &
Damon; brother, Fred Marshall Taylor; sisters, Cytheria (Richard)
Thorne, Ontario; Connie Taylor, Hilden; Susan (Maynard) Simpson,
Economy; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his
brother, Lewis, in infancy.
All are welcome to attend a graveside funeral service that will be
held 2 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Camden Cemetery, Reverend Sue
King-Darby officiating. Reception to follow in Harmony-Camden
McCulloch United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in
Richard’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia
