MacKenzie, Madeline Nellie, 84, of Vimy Court, Truro, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 27, 2010 in the Colchester Regional Hospital Truro. Born In Ontario, she was a daughter of the late John and Harriett Robertson. Madeline was a very loving mother and grandmother who loved all her family very dearly. She also had a great love for bingo and her knitting and puzzles. She is survived by daughters, Evelyn (Gilbert) Moulton, Halifax; Judy (Gordon) Eaton, Truro; sons, Douglas (Beth) and David, Truro; grandchildren, Kevin (Alex), Brian (Kate), Steven (Flo), Krista, Shawn, Matthew, Shannon; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Joshua, Liam, Ben; brother, Doug (Jessie) Robertson, Campbellford, ON; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 sisters; 3 brothers. Visitation will be held 7-9 today, September 29, and funeral service 2pm Thursday, September 30, all in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, Rev. Larry Harrison officiating, with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Interment will then be held in the Crossroads Cemetery Valley. Family flowers only.
