Ella Blackwood - 97, Cedarstone Enhanced Care, formerly of Glovertown, Newfoundland, passed away peacefully, with loving family at her side, on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at the home. Born December 25, 1913, in Silver Fox Island, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Obadiah and Elizabeth Hunt.

Ella is survived by her daughters, Francis (Stephen) Turner, Guelph, Ontario; Elizabeth “Betty” (Clifford) Garrett, Upper Brookside; grandchildren, Wayne (Tina) Turner, Peter (Lori) Garrett, Elizabeth “Betty” (Jerry) Gauthier, Jerry (Shirley) Turner, Michael Garrett (Janine), Melinda (Jim) Bailey; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Ella was predeceased by her first husband, Henry Vivian; second husband, Edgar Blackwood.
