Elliott, John Paul, 50, Truro, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012
in the QE II Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Brockville, ON,
he was a son of Marion (Tanner) Elliott of Brookfield, and the late
Charles Elliott. John was employed as a ventilation technician with
the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board.
He is survived by a son Adam Elliott of Truro; daughter Amy Elliott
(Christian Michael) of Truro; granddaughter Aiyana; brother Kary
(Teresa) of Brookfield; sister Cindy Elliott of Truro; nieces and
nephews; special aunt Barb Stevens of Brookfield; partner Nova Herring
of Wellington; and his special K9 companion Molly.
Besides his father, John was predeceased his uncle Buddy.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 7th from 6-9 pm in the
Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A private
family service will take place at a later date. Donations in
John’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
